> 96 | As for Archi Folders, UML package used by Enterprise Architect are a way to partition physically the content of an Enterprise Architect Project or Model repository. It can be stereotyped as a model (<<model>>), allowing then to capture in a project a set of models which are physically distinct, each model constituting a container. With such a mechanism, it is also possible to split a project and contained packages in different files or blobs within a database, constituting what the solution providers in this domain call "modules". A project can be split in modules. But it can also be constituted aggregating modules provided in shared modules libraries. It can also be the way for aggregating modules providing from different organization and tools, relying on the XML Interchange Model format (XMI) which support model interchange. No similar modularization mechanism is provided by Archi.
